What should I bring to Camp Rock Eagle?
What to Bring to Camp Rock Eagle March 30/31, 2015
Please remember:
· Limit luggage to one suitcase, backpack, or duffle bag,
plus a sleeping bag or bed roll.
Avoid sending unnecessary items.
· Make sure all items are marked with student's name.
· ONLY OLD CLOTHES ARE NEEDED. New clothes may be ruined by heavy outdoor use.
· The two most important items on this list are a water bottle and a raincoat.
We are outside for the majority of the time – even when it is hot or raining. Please, be prepared.
· PLEASE DO NOT BRING: candy, gum, snacks, cell phones (poor reception), computer devices of any kind,
electronic games, radios. knives, fireworks, or any valuables
Clothing
· Two pairs of closed-toe, good walking shoes (sneakers are OK}} as we will be walking several miles each day,
and an extra pair of old shoes or sandals may be needed for water classes
· One pair of clean shorts or pants per day
· One clean shirt per day
· Jacket/sweater/sweatshirt
· Rain jacket
· Hat or cap
· Several pairs of socks
· Pajamas
· Underwear
Personal Items
· Sleeping bag or bed roll (pillows and blankets are provided; sheets and pillowcases are NOT provided.)
Sheets and pillowcase·
Towel & wash cloth
· Comb and/or brush
· Soap, toothbrush, toothpaste, etc
· Plastic bag/trash bag for dirty clothes
· Insect repellant
· Water bottle (very important on hot days in spring and fall)
· Sunscreen- 35 or greater
Optional
· Camera and film- disposable, not digital
· Pen and paper
· Flashlight
· Sunglasses
· Shower shoes
