A sea cucumber is an animal that lives in the ocean. There are lots of different kinds and sizes of sea cucumbers. Some people like to eat them. Mrs. Mintz dissected one for us so we could see what it looked like on the inside too. We saw it's mouth, esophogus, stomach, intestines, and anus. Also its gills and gonads. It was pretty cool but kind of disgusting too.

HAPPY THANKSGIVING !!! Half of the Pilgrims survived that first winter. In the spring Squanto taught them how to live off the land by fishing, hunting, gathering, and planting the fields. With thankful hearts and more than enough food to get them through the next winter the remaining Pilgrims invited ther Indian friends to a harvest feast - the very first Thanksgiving in New England.
