from Fulton County Supporters of the Gifted
FULTON COUNTY SUPPORTERS OF THE GIFTED
Welcome to a new year in your talented and gifted child’s school life! If your child benefits from the enriched environment and opportunities offered through your school’s gifted program, this is your chance to join a group that has supported Fulton County Schools gifted program for many years. We need your participation to continue to support and enhance one of our nation’s premiere gifted programs.
FCSG is an entirely volunteer organization, established more than 15 years ago to:
q Support parents, teachers and advocates of gifted children
q Provide annual curriculum “mini-grants” to TAG teachers
q Fund student attendance at academic-oriented summer camps for enhanced learning opportunities through scholarships
q Fund an annual luncheon for TAG teachers
q Sponsor educational meetings on gifted issues, and
q Distribute information, including legislative developments and links to other gifted groups, through a newsletter and website (www.fultongifted.org)
All of these activities are made possible through your membership dues, contributions and volunteer support. We hope you will join us today. Your membership in FCSG includes membership in the Georgia Association for Gifted Children, among whose benefits include a newsletter specifically targeted toward the gifted students in our state.
FCSG welcomes parents interested in serving on the FCSG Board and numerous other opportunities to organize meetings, evaluate TAG teacher grant applications, and other of our activities.

Note: your company may match funds as FCSG is a Federal and state recognized 501(c)(3) tax exempt foundation and all contributions are fully tax deductible.
Funds are used to expand FCSG program offerings, including Teacher Mini-Grants and Student Camp Scholarships.

Membership is renewable annually. When you join FCSG you also automatically become a member of Georgia Association for Gifted Children (GAGC), and have access to GAGC’s webinars, resource material, eligibility to attend GAGC Conference, and support GAGC advocacy of gifted education in Georgia.
